The Associated General Contractors of America held its annual Construction HR & Training Professionals Conference in St. Louis, Missouri on October 8th and 9th. Theresa Phelps, a seasoned labor and employment law attorney with the Firm, was invited to speak at the conference on the topic of heightened scrutiny from the National Labor Relations Board with respect to employee handbooks and workplace policies. Through her practice, Theresa works with employers in developing and refining workplace policies to comply with the ever-changing legal landscape and to withstand the recent and heightened scrutiny from the NLRB.
