As a Paralegal at Rosenblum Goldenhersh, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our attorneys and ensuring the seamless operation of our fast-paced corporate/transactional practice group. We are in search of a meticulous and dedicated individual who thrives in a collegial work atmosphere and who is passionate about contributing to the success of our clients and the firm.
- Legal Research: Conduct comprehensive legal research using various resources to assist attorneys in transactional and corporate matters.
- Document Drafting: Prepare and draft transactional legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and other legal instruments, ensuring precision and compliance with legal standards and client expectations.
- Case Management: Maintain and organize transactional and corporate files, ensuring that all documents and records are easily accessible for attorneys and staff.
- Client Interaction: Communicate professionally with clients, both in person and via email and phone, to provide updates, gather necessary information, and facilitate smooth processes.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized records of transactions, contracts, agreements, and other corporate matters.
- Collaboration: Work closely with attorneys to ensure documents are meticulously prepared, reviewed, and executed.
- Administrative Duties: Assist with general administrative tasks related to transactional and corporate law, such as document preparation, filing, and data entry.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a corporate, transactional, or real-estate paralegal in a legal setting.
- Proficiency in conducting legal research using various online and offline resources.
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology and familiarity with legal documents and procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Superior computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Familiarity with transcription software and Dictaphone preferred.
- The ability to work well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment, but also able to work independently on designated tasks with minimal supervision.
- Strong ethics, confidentiality, and a commitment to maintaining the highest professional standards.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
